Scout Day at UH Ahuja Medical Center

Scouts of all ages and their families are invited to Scout Day at University Hospital's Ahuja Medical Center on September 28, 2013. Get your pack and family together to enjoy a fun-filled day of interactive health and safety activities:

  • Put out a fire

  • Bandage a teddy bear

  • Make a healthy snack

  • Learn to stretch with yoga

  • Build a first aid kid

The cost of $3 per person goes to the Boy Scouts of America Greater Cleveland Council. Lunch will be provided.

Eagle Scout Association Annual Meeting

We would like to extend an invitation to the Eagle Scout Association's Annual Meeting to all of my fellow Eagle Scouts.  We will have light hors d'oeuvres and soft drinks available for our guests and admission is FREE.  This is a very fun event to talk with other Eagle Scouts about what is going on in the scouting community and the different types of activities and opportunities available to our Eagle Scouts.  The location information is as follows:

Cub Haunted Weekends- Oct  11-13 & Oct 18-20

This October you and your Cub Scouts will have a hauntingly good time at Cub Haunted WeekendsYou can choose from two weekends -- October 11-13, 2013 or October 18-20, 2013.

Friday night campers may arrive anytime between 6 PM - 9 PM and participate in limited Cub Haunted activities.  Saturday's activities will include Pumpkin Chuck'n, BB Guns, Archery, Giant Slide, Cub COPE, Candle Making, Hay Ride, Haunted House, and what a better way to top off the day but with a Campfire!!! 

Cub Haunted will be an overnight campout for Cub Scouts and their families (BSA Family Camping rules apply) at Beaumont Scout Reservation in Rock Creek, Ohio. 

Cost for the weekend is $80.00 for the Scout and an adult partner. See attached flyer for additional pricing information. This will include all the games and crafts, dinner, breakfast, and a t-shirt for everyone.  

So get your costume ready, grab your tent, sleeping bag and flashlight and join the fun at Cub Haunted Weekend!!!

Taste of Beaumont

On Tuesday, October 1, 2013, we will once again be hosting our "Taste of Beaumont" event at the Council Service Center beginning at 5:00pm.

Scoutmasters, this is your opportunity to bring your SPL or PLC to an event that makes them part of the Summer Camp selection process. The excitement begins at 5:00 with the ATV Course, followed by food from Camp Chef Bill.

Following dinner will be a brief presentation on this year's exciting new Summer Camp Program!

In 2013, camp attendance was  up by over 63%, why not come see why!

Outdoor Leader Skills / OWL Training

This required training will be held at Beaumont Scout Reservation, in Cub World, the weekend of September 13-15. This is the final training needed to become a fully trained Scout Master or Asst. Scout Master for your unit. For Webelos Leaders, this is OWL training, that is required to be a fully trained Webelos Leader.
